Sometimes it’s the little things in life that can make you happy. Case and point: YSL Y-Mail Black Coin Purse. It’s just so adorable. Simple, classic, and an affordable piece of one of my favorite designer houses. I am drooling for a pair of their shoes, but this would help take the edge off. You can purchase through Yves Saint Laurent online for $175. Not too bad for something that is practical and pretty.

I wrote about my favorite men’s wallets with very specific parameters in mind. I have the same needs for a woman’s wallet. I am talking about an everyday wallet. One that needs to be able to switch out with *most* of your handbags. Easy, classy, and functional. I know some women do not like the large continental shapes, but I love them. When they are not overstuffed, but fit all of your necessities, it looks very elegant when you are at the Walmart cashier buying your weeks worth of groceries. 😉 Seriously though, women need to have something that makes them feel like a princess! So here are my solutions:
I do love this new quilted monogram canvas that Louis Vuitton has just released. I had a rant earlier about not enough protective feet on bottoms of expensive bags. Well, Louis Vuitton added feet on this one. You can tell Marc Jacobs is the Creative Director behind the LV brand, his love of quilted bags has moved on to bigger and better things. I do like it, but for some extra detailing, this bag sure seems to think it deserves a very high price tag! The only leather on this bag is the trim and that’s cowhide leather, not exotic. I do understand that everything at Louis Vuitton is uber-expensive, but seriously? Unless your bag budget can accommodate this bag with no problems, I would suggest going with the Mahina. The price point is nearly the same depending on what size of each style you prefer. I figure if you are going to be spending around $3,000 might as well get a leather bag, unless you just love monogram canvas. 😛 Buy through Eluxury for $3,500.
Oh and you can add this cute little Dior “Oui” necklace for $1,125. They had a cute ring to match, but are sold out of it at the moment 😦
I am so good at finding various ways to spend hard-earned money. But at least I don’t waste it on stuff. Like things that won’t get used or appreciated. Everything I buy, I buy because I love it. I even passed on two whole racks of cashmere at Neiman Marcus that was on sale over the summer, because I knew I needed to wait until I found the perfect sweater, I mean sweaters. Don’t just buy to have. But luckily for me, there is a never-ending supply of gorgeous things that need to be appreciated. Like things from Louis Vuitton. Specifically, I am in love with the Monogram Vernis Brentwood in Amarante. Sleek, under the radar (for Louis Vuitton!), and beautiful, of course. You can purchase directly through Eluxury for $1,630.
And if you happen to be in for a penny, might as well be in for a pound! Add this lovely Mahina Stole in Rose for $645.
I have seen other girls put the cutest charms on their bags, or keys, and I just love it. Juicy Couture seems to be a favorite, and if I could afford it Louis Vuitton makes some neat ones too, but you would freak out over the prices. I am still legally sane, so I’m not even going to go there, but it never hurts to look, right? Even Coach has some precious ones. So I rounded up some that I love, (I think Balenciaga bags look amazing with these for some reason) and tell me what you think. If you see one you like just click on the image and you can find out more info about pricing, etc. I mixed up Halloween, Christmas, and just plain adorable ones for you to see.
